SB 3 – Texas Hemp Ban Bill

Status: Vetoed by Governor Abbott on June 22, 2025. A special session has been called to address hemp regulations starting July 21st.
Summary: Would have banned all cannabinoids except CBD and CBD isolates.

SB 2024 - Hemp Vape Ban Bill

Status: Signed into law by Governor Abbott on June 20, 2025.
Summary: Bans all vapes that contain, is mixed with, or is marketed as containing or being mixed with any cannabinoids, alcohol, kratom, kava, mushrooms, tianeptine, or any derivatives of those.
